Once Again

Once again, we visited a convenience store on Orange Blossom Trail that is a meeting place for LOTS of people!  We were literally bombarded with people reaching into our cars and taking things, sometimes without asking.  Some people were almost demanding that I give them things. We had lots of requests/demands for us to give them 'two' items of the same thing.  For instance, the hygiene bags are always popular, and today many people requested more than one bag.  It was rather difficult to man the car, and try give out things fairly.  Part of the problem was that I was manning my car by myself.  In the future, we need to always have 2 people per car.

At the pace we gave things out today, there was really no time to converse with the people and

build relationships.  We feel like over the past two years, we have built some good relationships at Young's Market and we would like to move more in that direction in the future.

One of our biggest blessings has been the addition of more people to our team.  The young man above, Ephraim, has been a huge asset to our team.  He is the plumbing apprentice for another man, Gleon, who joined our team a few months ago.  We are so grateful for the extra hands, big smiles, and gracious attitude that they bring to our team.

God is always at work...we pray that what we do honors Him!
