Connie...our dear old friend.  Connie was the first person to ever receive a pillow.  We have seen Connie many times near Young's Market and every time we see her, she is delighted to see us.  Today was no different.  Connie accepted Jesus over a year ago, yet she continues to live her life of alcohol addiction on the streets.  She tells us she came to the USA from Puerto Rico when she was 14 years old.  At this point in time, her boyfriend, Gary is in jail for car highjacking.  It does not look likely that he will get out in the forseeable future.  Connie would love to go visit Gary in jail but she does not have an ID.  She says that the HOPE Team has tried to get her an ID, but they failed.  I wonder...is this something big enough for God to handle?  Could God get Connie an ID?  Add that to the prayer list!  Barbara

“And if you give yourself to the hungry,

And satisfy the desire of the afflicted,

Then your light will rise in darkness,
And your gloom will bec
ome like midday.”
